Allen Walck is a native of Niagara Falls, NY.  He started his work in Music Ministry at the age of 12, and has continued steadily for 40 years.   His education is eclectic.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Geneseo in English and holds the NY State Teaching Certificate in English (7-12) from there.   Also he received his Master of Science in Education from Niagara University.   Additionally, he completed coursework at Roberts Wesleyan for a NY State Teaching Certificate in Music (K-12).  A member and former board member of the Rochester chapter of the American Guild of Organists, he attained the title of Colleague following a rigorous examination.

Allen has lived in Avon with his wife and two sons since 1996.   Currently he serves as organist for St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church here in Avon on Saturdays and he works for the Rush-Henrietta Central School District as the accompanist at Burger Jr. High School.   He is an avid horseman and runner, and loves working with yarn and cloth through knitting, sewing, vestment making, and weaving.
